Overdue Thanks

There are people in my life that I really need to thank. I wish I could say that I do it enough, but I don't. I know I don't. So, here it goes: Karen, thank you for being the mother I never had. Thank you for not giving up on me so many years ago. You could have easily washed you hand of me, but you didn't. Thank you, and even though I don't say it... I do love you. Dad, what can I say. Thank you for giving up a real bed so my brother and I could have our own rooms. I never realized how much that meant to me till I slept in one a couple nights in a row. I'm still not sure how your back isn't completely messed up. I also want to thank you for teaching me to question everything. I know that sometimes it's a pain in the ass and because of it we don't always see eye to eye, but if it weren't for that I wouldn't be the person I am today (that's something I can never properly thank you for). Joe, thank you for being a great friend. Seriously, you were there to listen to me. Your always in my corner when I need it and you have no problem telling me when I've crossed the line. Thank you. Reuben, thank you for being honest with me and helping me when I need it. I hope that one day I will be able to repay the kindness you've given me. Terry, thank for your words of encouragement. I wish you knew how much it meant to me. Thank you for the great talks. Tyler, I don't talk to you nearly as much I would like to but I still want to thank you for all your help and friendship. Since the day I met you, you've been a great friend. To all my other friends I haven't mentioned, I am sorry but I thank you all for being in my life. Finally, I would like to say something to my brother. Nick, I love you and wish we talked more often. I hope one day we can know more of what's going on in each others lives.

Steamstyle

A friend and I have come up with a new style. It's called Steamstyle. It's a lot like steampunk but better because it can be casual as well as formal. Why did we do this? Well, I'll tell you. We found true steampunk required a lot of clothing, most of which could only be worn with one or two outfits. That's not to efficent! Also we found that lots of people were just calling period pieces steampunk, which is a horrible mistake. Thus our own style of steamstyle came about. Yes it's going to be hard to find it's place in the world but I think we're to the task. Look for pics of the new style.... ... as soon as we have some money.

The Usual

I hate that I'm even thinking about this but sometimes I don't think you can help it. I wonder if she thinks about me. I know, I know. I should be moving on, but I can't help but think about her. I wonder if I ever meant anything to her. I wonder if she even truly cared at all. I think she did, but, can you ever truly know? After what I've been through with her, I wonder. I wish I could forget her forever. Ha, I wish I could go a whole week with out having to write something like this. Who knows, maybe I will this time.
